Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process. It’s important to understand that change happens because you ready to take those next steps in preparation to allow it to happen. As with anything worth doing, success is dependent on your commitment and determination.

Sessions consist of a combination of Psychotherapy (talking therapy) and Hypnosis. The Psychotherapy techniques used to allow you to address underlying issues.

The good news is the Psychotherapy techniques I use do not involve talking in-depth about the problem or things that have happened to you in the past. I help to guide you to visualise your preferred future, how things would be, allowing you to obtain a more elevated viewpoint. Sessions also allow you to develop “tools” to support you beyond our time together.

Hypnosis is a powerful technique where we can access the subconscious, in which positive and beneficial suggestions can be embedded and then interpreted to bring about change.

Hypnosis is an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable experience, with most clients saying it’s their favourite part of the session. Within Hypnosis/trance our conscious and subconscious are in tune, we can explore positive suggestions to overcome the blocks in your life. Contrary to popular belief during trance, the client is in complete control, if necessary, you can wake up at any time.

This deep relaxing state helps to reset the autonomic nervous system; a system that acts largely unconsciously and regulates bodily functions, such as the heart rate, digestion and respiratory rate.

At the end of your session, you will be returned to your receptive state where your mind is calm and you feel relaxed and refreshed. Over time, your brain will absorb the suggestions made in the session/s and will lead to positive changes in your mindset and behaviour.
